Qualification: B.Sc. Physiotherapy, 2016; University of the Free State
Experience: Anja completed her community service at Phuthuloha Hospital in Ficksburg, Free State, where she enjoyed working as part of a multidisciplinary team and treating a wide variety of patients from all walks of life. She then proceeded to spend the first part of her career working at a private physiotherapy practice in Johannesburg.

Special Interests: Anja is experienced in treating musculoskeletal pain, sport injuries, orthopaedic- and neurological conditions. She also has a keen interest in Paediatric Physiotherapy and is journeying towards furthering her knowledge in management of chronic pain conditions in children and adults. An important part of her therapeutic approach is providing compassionate, patient-specific care and empowering patients in the process of addressing the cause of their problem.
Skills: Anja completed both the Level 1 and Level 2 Be Activated courses – a revolutionary treatment system that aims to address muscle imbalances and compensation strategies of the body. She is also trained in the use of Dry Needling.
Other Interests: Anja comes from a diverse background in competitive sport. She enjoys being active and regularly participates in activities like action netball, running and hiking.
Something About Me:nbsp;I come from a “multidisciplinary family”. My mother is also a physiotherapist and I have an older sister who is qualified as a medical doctor and a younger sister who is an occupational therapist.
