Qualification: : BPhyst, 2001; University of Pretoria.
Experience: After her studies Elizaan worked in the UK and returned to South Africa in 2003. Thereafter she worked in various practices in Pretoria and Cape Town.
Joined Cathy Carstens Physiotherapy Practice: 2006, up till 2014 when they relocated back to Pretoria. She joined the practice again in 2019.
Special Interests: Orthopaedics, Sport injuries and Post-op rehabilitation.
Something About Me: As a Physiotherapist my work is my passion and I grab each day as a new opportunity and learning curve to become the best Physiotherapist I can be.
I strive to adhere to always be professional; to respect my patients, peers and team members of all different cultures and backgrounds; to be ethical in all aspects of work and life itself; to deliver the best evidenced based, effective and quality physiotherapy service, and to make sure I stay in tune with the latest research and still grow in knowledge by taking part in professional development activities.
I have a passion working with people and working as a physiotherapist is a very rewarding profession for me.
I belong to the Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy Group as part of South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP). Important factors in my life are my Faith, my family, my friends and an active and balanced lifestyle. I enjoy running, camping, and socializing with friends. I also love cooking and painting in my free time.
